Disclaimer & Fair Housing Statement
Not affiliated with government
SubsidizedHousing.org is independently and privately operated. We are not a government agency and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of HUD, any housing authority, or any government body. Applications for assistance are always made — and always free — directly with properties and agencies themselves; we only provide information and are not the government.
Email updates
Any email we send comes from SubsidizedHousing.org (operated by NPAT LLC), never from a government address, and only when you have opted in and when there is a relevant update to share. We do not impersonate HUD or any agency, and every update email includes an unsubscribe option.
Equal Housing Opportunity
SubsidizedHousing.org is privately operated and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of HUD, any housing authority, or any government body. Applications for assistance are always made — and always free — through properties and agencies themselves. We support the Fair Housing Act: this directory presents data neutrally, does not screen applicants or steer users, and does not tolerate discrimination. Program eligibility descriptions are summaries — agencies apply the controlling rules.
Not a screening service
We are not a tenant-screening, background-check, credit, or consumer-reporting service (including under the Fair Credit Reporting Act). We do not run or sell background or screening checks, and trust labels shown for matching are informational only — never a determination of eligibility or suitability, and never a lawful basis, on their own, for an adverse housing decision.
Data accuracy
Records reflect administrative snapshots described on our methodology page and may lag current conditions. Report errors and we will correct promptly.
No sponsored links
We do not run paid outbound links or third-party display advertising, and sponsorship never influences the data or rankings shown.
Demand leads — consent & disclosure
Property managers can purchase access to housing demand leads. A demand lead is created only when a renter explicitly opts in (“I want housing providers to contact me”) and provides the details in their profile — desired bedrooms, target rent, household size, move-in timeline, and voucher status with trust label. Contact information is shared only with managers who have paid access and only for the purpose of offering housing; it is never sold as a mailing list, never shared without opt-in, and never used for screening. Renters can revoke this at any time by contacting contact@npat.io or updating their preferences in their account. Managers using demand leads must comply with the Fair Housing Act and these terms.
